Ragging is not just a tradition, but a harmful violation of human dignity and respect. It erodes the values of compassion and equality that every institution should uphold. Say no to ragging and embrace a culture of respect, empathy, and support for all.

Anti Ragging Policy at DAIPS

Objectives
  • To eradicate ragging in all its forms from the institution by taking necessary steps.
  • To prohibit any conduct, gesture or behaviour which amounts to ragging.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To uphold and comply with the directions of the Honourable Supreme Court and be vigilant on any acts amounting to Ragging.
  • To publicize all relevant directives and the measures that can be taken against those indulging in ragging.
  • To consider the complaints received from the students and conduct enquiry and submit report to the Anti- Ragging Committee along with punishment recommended for the offenders.
  • Oversee the procedure of obtaining undertaking from the students in accordance with the provisions.
  • Conduct workshops against ragging menace and orient the students.
  • To provide students with the contact information, addresses, and telephone numbers of the person(s) designated to receive complaints or distress calls.
  • To offer services of counselling and create awareness to the students.
  • To take all necessary measures for prevention of ragging inside the Campus/Hostels.
